ACA Traditions Potluck 2014

The 2014 ACA Traditions Potluck was held on Wednesday, November 19th from 12:00-1:00pm in CBA 3.304. ACA members really brought their A game with the potluck items to share - I walked away in a blissful sugar/carb daze. Big thanks to the ACA FUNdraising Committee for organizing such a great event!

I'll take this moment to offer my sincerest advanced apologies for all of the truly awful, candid, mid-bite photos I managed to take of so many people. Except of myself. That just doesn't seem fair, does it?

This was only the beginning of the spread. Yes, those ARE pretzel buns you spy in on the right side, and yes, they were amazing!

The most important table: The Dessert Table. Not yet pictured: Alexia Apollo's inspired hot cider station.

Well hello, chocolate cake!

Julia Chinnock, mischievously eyeing the cranberry punch.

Building ACA connections!

Words can't express how delightful Beth's smile is here. Or how much Emily does not want her photo taken.

Excitement!

Lovely ACA ladies, new and established!

Pam Dahl: The O.G. of Advising.

We're clapping now!!

Kayla and Justin shared more details about the ACA Pod Program (previously the ACA Mentor Program) and had some of the Most Perfect Pod Members (Kayla's pet name for the members who seemed to build particularly meaningful relationships in the program last year) share their Extremely Perfect Experiences about the program last year (perfect or flawed, all the Mentor Program participants seemed to have wonderful experiences to share!):

How could you not want to be part of whatever Jay is talking about right now? Look how happy he is!!

That's where your ACA Historian dropped the ball and stopped taking photos. There was chocolate pudding/brownie/Kit Kat parfait to eat (SERIOUSLY) and sharing of gratitude to take part in. Thanks to all of the wonderful ACA members who participated this year!
